Mixed Vegetable Chappathi

Mixed Vegetable chappathi is one of the easiest way to feed the kids  who does not like vegetables to eat. Its colour is pink because of beetroot. So the kids will love it.

Ingredients
1.       Whole wheat flour - 2 cup
2.     Soya flour – ½ cup
3.     Potato – 1 No
4.     Carrot – 1 No
5.     Beetroot – ½ No
6.     Channa Dal / Toor Dal– ¼ cup
7.     Salt – to taste

 How to prepare
  1. Wash and cook the dal in a pressure cooker. Wash and peel off the vegetables. Add these                    vegetables to cooked dal and pressure cook again with little water and enough salt. Allow to cool. When it becomes cool, grind it well. (Or smash it together well. But beetroot can’t be      smashed properly. That’s why I prefer grinding)
  2. Knead  the wheat flour and soya flour with the ground vegetables. Keep it aside for 30 minutes. Divide the entire dough into medium sized balls. Roll out each ball into a thin chappathi and cook on a hot tava until both sides are golden brown.  Serve hot.
