Pazham Vilayichathu . . .

Have you fed up with usual banana fries and roasts. Then try a new dish with banana for evening tea time or for kinds breakfast who is having it at school (healthy and tasty)... I got this recipe from my old colleague in ADSB - Ms. Rahmath. I dint see her for loooooong time and still I remember her recipe...


Ingredients: 

  1. Banana (ethappazham)– 2 Nos.
  2.  Sugar - 2-3 tsp
  3.   Coconut  – 3-4 table spoon
  4.     Egg - 1 no
  5. Cardamom Powder(Elakka) - 1 or 2 pinch
  6. Ghee – 3 table spoon

Method:

  1. Peel off and cut Banana into small pieces.
  2. Beat egg well.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan. Then add the banana pieces and stir well for 3-4 minutes.  
  4. Then add beaten egg to this and immediately stir it well like to prepare scrambled egg.
  5. Add coconut and sugar to it and cover the pan with a lid for 4-5 minutes (Use low flame).
  6. when its done, remove the lid and sprinkle cardamom powder over it and stri well.
  7. Remove from fire and serve hot...
