Oats Payasam



Ingredients

1.       Milk – 1 1/2cup
2.       Oats - 4 – 5 tspoon
3.       Sugar -3 spoons
4.       Salt – a small pinch
5.       Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
6.       Nuts and raisins -3 tsp
7.       Ghee – 2 tsp


How to prepare

  1. In a pan, add little ghee and roast broken nuts and raisins. Keep it aside.
  2. Boil Milk in another pan, add oats and stir well. Cook on a low flame about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add sugar, salt and cardamom powder. Stir well. Remove from fire.
  4. Finally, sprinkle with fried cashew nuts and raisins.
  5. Serve hot or chilled.
