Chicken Paratha
You may have tried Aloo paratha, Paneer Paratha or Gobi Paratha. But did u ever try a Chicken Paratha??? For the non-veg lovers, here a different kind of stuffed paratha. Try this, you will love this. I’m sure!!!
Ingredients
For Paratha
1. Whole wheat flour - 2 1/12 cup
Oil - 2 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
2. Salt - to taste
3. Lukewarm Water - 1 – 1 1/4cup (Approximately)
For Stuffing
1. Chicken (Boneless) -150 gm
2. Chicken masala - 1/2 t spoon
3. Ginger - garlic - pepper paste - 1/2 t spoon
4. Turmeric Powder -1/4 t spoon
5. Salt - to taste
6. Big onion - 1 No (Finely Chopped)
7. Green Chilly - 1 No
8. Garam Masala - ½ t spoon
How to prepare
- . Mix the wheat flour, oil (Here I’m using Olive oil. You can use any cooking oil instead of this)and Salt and knead well into a soft and smooth dough using lukewarm water. Keep it aside for 30 minutes
- Cook the chicken, Chicken masala, Ginger – garlic – pepper paste,Turmeric Powder and Salt (Add ¼ glass of water if need). Allow to cool
- Mince the cooked chicken using a blender
- Mix the minced chicken, onion, finely chopped green chilli and garam masala.
- Divide the entire dough into medium sized balls (Its around 14-15 balls)
- Roll out each ball into a small circle and fill the inside with a spoonful of chicken mixture and close it tightly.Roll out again carefully into a medium paratha (There is chance to stick on the rolling pan. To avoid this apply little wheat flour on it or on the both sides of the paratha) and cook on a hot tava until both sides are golden brown.
- Serve hot with raita
