Wholewheat Orange Cake

Fresh Orange juice - 1 cup
Egg ( room temp) - 2 nos.
Sugar - 1/2 cup + 3 table spoon
Oil - ¼ cup
Orange zest - 1 tspoon
Whole wheat flour - 1¼cup
Baking powder - 1 tspoon
Baking soda - ¼ tspoon
Orange essence - 1 tspoon ( you can use vanilla essence instead of orange essence)

Method
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and Orange zest well and keep it aside.
Take ¾ cup of juice in a blender, add  ½ cup sugar to it. Blend well. Then  add egg one by one and blend. Then add oil and blend thoroughly.
Then pour this mix into a bowl and add flour mix to it little by little and mix well using a spatula. Finally add essence and mix altogether.
Apply butter in a baking pan & place a baking sheet over it. Pour the batter into it. Tap it to remove air bubbles.
Preheat the oven 180° for 10 minutes and bake for 45 - 55 minutes at 180°.
Mix 2-3 table spoon sugar to the remaining ¼ juice and mix well. Microwave it for 1 minute. 
Once the baking is done, take it out and make some holes over using a fork or tooth pick. Then pour prepared orange juice over it. 
Allow to cool and absorb juice completely.
Then cut it and serve. Enjoy the yummilicious healthy orange cake...
