Orange Cranberry cookies 




INGREDIENTS

·       wheat flour - 3/4 cup 
·       butter - 1/4 cup 
·       powdered sugar - 1/3 cup 
·       orange essence - 1/4 tsp 
·       chopped cranberry - 1 & 1/2 tbsp 
·       orange zest - 1/4 tsp 

INSTRUCTIONS
1.     In a mixing bowl add butter and powdered sugar.
2.     Whisk it well until creamy. Add orange essence and wheat flour.
3.     Bring together to form a dough. If it is crumbly then add few drops of milk. Do not knead just gather that's enough. Add cranberry and orange zest.
4.     Mix it then form a log shape with the dough as shown.
5.     Cling wrap it and refrigerate it at least for a n hour.

6.     Then open the wrap, roll out the dough using a chapatti roller. Cut it into desired shapes using cookie cutter and bake in preheated oven at 180deg C for 12-15 minutes or until the edges turn golden. If you are using white flour it may take less time 10-12 minutes, so keep an eye after 10 minutes itself.
