Corn Cheese Balls

I supposed to make in the last week. But yesterday only I got time to make it. Its really yummy. My kinds finished the whole plate within 5 minutes. I made some deviations from the original recipe for my convenience... U can also try your own version...



Ingredients


Sweet Corn - 1 cup
Grated Cheese - 1/3 cup
Potato - 1 medium sized
Powdered Oats - 1/4 cup
Cornflour - 1.5 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 3/4 tsp
Oregano - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - To fry

Method

Pressure cook Potato for 4 to 5 whistles.Peel off the skin,and mash it well.Set aside. Cook sweet corn with little salt and required water.Drain water completely and set aside.

In a blender, add corn and blend it to a fine paste.Do this in batches and collect in a bowl.Add mashed potato,grated cheese,cornflour,red chilli powder, pepper powder,oregano and required salt. Then Add oats powder to adjust the consistency. It should be like a unniyappam batter.  Neither too watery nor too thick.

Heat the unniyappam pan and sprinkle little oil in each of its hole. When the pan become hot pour the batter in each hole.  Fry it in low flame until its bottom side becomes golden brown in colour. Then turn it into other side with the help of a fork. And fry that side also till it becomes golden brown in colour. Serve hot with tomato sauce...
